Skoll Foundation has joined Heading for Change as a Donor-Partner!

We are so excited to share that the Skoll Foundation has joined Heading for Change as a Donor-Partner, with our first major contribution of $500,000!

In case you missed Suzanne’s post last month, Heading for Change is the new endowment she launched with her husband Daniel Maskit, investing at the critical intersection of gender and climate.

This grant will help us to grow the number of climate and gender funds we invest in, as well as to increase the size of our investments - helping climate and gender fund managers to go further, move faster, and meet the urgency of the climate crisis.

It will also help us to launch our catalytic grants program supporting visionary systems change entrepreneurs and nonprofits whose work is building investment capacity at the intersection of climate and gender.

This grant represents a continuation of Skoll’s commitment to backing systems change work led by women and people of color as an essential pathway for solving complex social problems.

Skoll is just one of many donor-partners who have come on board since Heading for Change officially launched earlier this month, with contributions ranging from hundreds of dollars to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

If you’d like to be part of our mission to transform the investment ecosystem in ways that are better for climate, biodiversity, and gender equality, reach out to Samantha Anderson.
